Thibault Liger-Belair

Thibault Liger-Belair，the sixth generation of the Liger-Belair family and the current owner of Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair with a large number of top vineyards in Burgundy.

Thibault spent six years studying planting and winemaking. He also worked in the famous wine trading company in Paris. In 2001, he began to invest in reviving family wineries, changing the name of the winery to his own name and establishing a wine trading company. The family’s winemaking process and business philosophy are once again inherited.

Thibault is a staunch supporter of organic farming. He believes that “in the face of nature, we must always remember our own smallness and respect the earth.” He believes that the root of wine quality comes from the vineyard, and the key to the vineyard. It is cultivated carefully. Under the implementation of Thibault, the current winery has been certified by the European ECOCERT organic farming method, and is gradually implementing the biodynamic law.
